Stripedy Polonaise Alert!!!
Resurfacing for a quick hello...and to announce that you can find me at 123 Stripedy Lane, Polonaiseville!

 
Yeah, yeah, yeah, the pictures are horrible, but you get the idea.  Lots more trimming to be done on it, but I'll call it Good Enough for its debut in Williamsburg next week!

Thanks, and yes! It should have more bling on it by then. :)

(No! But I'm crossing my fingers that it will arrive tomorrow or Monday. And, worst case scenario, if it arrives after I leave for Williamsburg, my little brother will be house sitting for me and I can ask him to insure it and overnight it to the Costume Con hotel.)

Oh yeah! Beautiful! You will look so awesome in W'burg. I found out I was being too fussy trying to polonaise mine. It's just two strings that draw up on each side. I was still in a Victorian-polonaise/bustle mindset.

Thanks! Yes, the polonaises are pretty simple. It's just a matter of using fabric with enough Floof to bustle nicely. :)
